Lake Garda Wines

Set against the picturesque shores of Italy’s largest lake, the vineyards of Lake Garda produce wines that capture the essence of this sun-drenched region. With a mild Mediterranean climate, gentle slopes, and cooling breezes from the lake, the area provides ideal conditions for crafting fresh, elegant, and full-of-character wines.

The Custoza cooperative was founded in 1968. The cooperative’s members collectively cultivate 1,000 hectares of vineyards in the Moraine hills south of Lake Garda. Since 1996, the wines have been produced organically. The resulting wines are, hence, given the name “Terre in Fiore.”  The organic wines of the Cantina di Custoza – especially the Custoza – are characterized by their fresh, fruity ageing.
